Planning Permission Granted for New Modular Unit at Theatre Royal Surgery – Update
The modular unit at Theatre Royal Surgery has been in place since Monday 23rd February 2026 and forms an integral part of our surgery premises. It provides additional space for our team, supporting the continued delivery of safe, effective, and high‑quality care for our patients following the closure of Toftwood Medical Centre.
Located within the existing car park, the modular unit includes three consultation rooms, a waiting area, and toilet facilities.
Patients may be directed to this area for their appointment; it is identified as Waiting Room 4 when checking in.
We recognise that recent changes have taken time to adjust to and would like to thank patients for their ongoing patience and support. To help maintain access to appointments, we continue to offer additional Saturday clinics and increased availability of remote appointments during the week.
