Planning Permission Granted for New Modular Unit at Theatre Royal Surgery

We’re pleased to let you know that planning permission has now been granted by Breckland Council for a new modular building to be installed at Theatre Royal Surgery. This will provide additional space to support our team in delivering care, following the closure of Toftwood Medical Centre.

The new unit will be located in our existing car park and will include three consultation rooms, a waiting area, and a WC. We expect it to be in place and ready for use by the end of August 2025.

We understand that the past few months have been a period of adjustment, and we want to thank all our patients for your patience and support. In the meantime, we’re continuing to run extra clinics on Saturdays and offer more remote appointments during the week to help improve access to care.

We’ll keep you updated as work progresses.
