Enhanced access

We currently offer improved access appointments and extended hours clinics.

Regular GP appointments are offered weekly on varying days. Selected weekend appointments are also available. Appointments may be face to face or phone appointments.

Various nurse and phelbotomy appointments are offered on certain Saturdays.

These appointments can be pre-booked in advance and we hope that these appointments will be beneficial to patients who have difficulty attending during normal surgery hours.

Your appointment

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:

  • By phone
  • Face to face at the surgery
  • On a video call
  • By text or email

Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.

For transport to medical appointments, The Dereham Community Car Scheme is sponsored by Breckland Council and Dereham Town Council and is available only to those people who live in the parish of Dereham (including Toftwood) and who satisfy certain conditions such as being unable to make essential journeys by public or private hire transport.

The organiser can be contacted on 07827 972163 between 9am and 1pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (messages cannot be left).
