Travel Vaccinations

If you require vaccinations relating to foreign travel then you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse who will be able to administer these.  When calling the surgery please make the receptionist aware that you need to make an appointment for travel vaccinations, they will then take details of your upcoming trip including countries and areas in which you are travelling and length of stay so that we can determine which vaccines need to be administered.  We ask that you look on the travel health pro website before calling to determine whether you need any vaccinations.  If you feel that you do, please do not hesitate to contact us.

It is important to make this appointment as soon as possible- you will need to have the jabs at least two weeks before you travel so calling us in plenty of time to allow us to book you an appointment is essential.

We are unable to administer some vaccinations as they are not covered by the services provided by the NHS.  The receptionist/nurse will be able to make you aware at the time of booking and will be able to signpost you in the direction of a clinic that can provide these vaccines.  Please note that there will be a charge for visiting a private travel clinic.
