How to join our Patient Participation Group
Complete the Patient Group Sign-up Form Online
Our Patient Group is no longer in existence in the original form. We are currently investigating the setting up of a "virtual" patient reference group and if you would be interested in joining this, please complete the form above. We will be in touch shortly after we receive your form. Please note that no medical information or questions will be responded to. We are keen to get patients of all ages (over 16) and of varying ethnic groups to join the "virtual" panel so if you are willing to get involved we shall look forward to hearing from you.

PPG Survey into the local Out of Hours Service - 2014
Our PPG carried out a survey 5th - 20th February, 2014. Patients were asked if they had used the NHS 111 call line for Out of Hours Service; if responding YES, then asked to rate their experience and also to comment on their rating. If responding NO, then asked if they were aware of the service and if again responding NO, were given a brief explanation of the service.

PPG Suvey 2013/14
The PPG carried out a comprehensive survey in autumn 2013. 1,110 questionnaires were handed out and 839 returned - 75.59% of the total distributed which was quite an achievement!

There were over 500 positive comments received from patients covering all aspects of the surgery and those who work there. It certainly showed that patients do notice and appreciate every area of Theatre Royal Surgery.
Together with the practice we have devised an Action Plan of six points:
The practice has also submitted a detailed report on the survey to the NHS England Area Team - a copy of this report can be read by clicking here.
One of the Action Points from last year's survey was for the PPG to promoted local health organisations to our patients. As a result of this we have organised an Open Information Event at Dereham Meeting Point on Wednesday 30th April, 2014, from 4.30 p.m. until 8.00 p.m. Many health and local organisations (including South Norfolk CCG) will be represented so we hope you can join us.
